Privacy Policy — Overclock

Effective date: July 6, 2026  ·  Last updated: July 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Torre Matrix LLC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Overclock mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Overclock is a gamified workout-tracking app. The data controller responsible for your information is Torre Matrix LLC, located in California, United States. You can reach us any time at ape.bomm@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what the App needs to work. The table below reflects the data the App actually creates and stores.

2.1 Account & identity

2.2 Profile & fitness data

2.3 Health & sensitive data

The App collects or accesses the following categories of health-related data, always to provide fitness features you have chosen to use:

2.4 Location data

If you use GPS-based cardio tracking, the App accesses your device's location while the App is in the foreground to measure distance and pace. Location tracking is optional, is used only for the workout you are recording, and is never sold or used for advertising. You can decline or revoke the location permission in your device settings at any time.

2.5 Social data

2.6 Purchases

2.7 Technical data

To operate and secure the service we may process basic technical information such as your account identifier, timestamps, and app/diagnostic information. We do not currently use third-party analytics or crash-reporting services. If this changes, we will update this policy and disclose any such providers here.

3. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. How your information is shared

4.1 With other users

When you use social features, other users may see limited profile information about you — but only what you allow. You control this with in-app settings, including: sharing of ranks, personal records, workouts, bodyweight, and last season, plus a master Private Mode toggle. Blocked users cannot see you or interact with you. By default some of these are on; you can change them at any time in the App.

4.2 Service providers

We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf under contract, only to run the App:

ProviderPurpose
SupabaseAuthentication and cloud database/storage of your account and app data.
RevenueCatManaging in-app purchases and entitlements.
Apple App Store / Google PlayProcessing payments and app distribution.

4.3 Legal & safety

We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public.

4.4 Business transfers

If the App or our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you of any change in how your data is handled.

5. Your privacy controls

Inside the App you can: edit or delete your profile details, toggle what you share with friends, enable Private Mode, block or unblock users, and decline device permissions (location, motion, health). You can also request deletion of your account and data (see §7).

6. Data storage & security

Your data is stored in our cloud database (Supabase) and on your device. Access is protected by per-user row-level security so users can only read their own data (and the limited friend data your settings allow). Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information. Some data is also cached on your device to let the App work offline.

7. Data retention & deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by deleting your account in-app (Profile → Delete My Account) or by emailing us at ape.bomm@gmail.com. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations. Backups are purged on a rolling schedule.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise any right, contact us at ape.bomm@gmail.com. We do not sell personal information.

9. Children's privacy

Overclock is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International data transfers

Our servers are located in the United States (US West / Oregon). If you use the App from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date, and where appropriate notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.

12. Contact us
